Storm Emily weakens to low pressure trough over Haiti (Reuters)

PORT-AU-PRINCE (Reuters) – Tropical Storm Emily weakened into a low pressure trough on Thursday over the island of Hispaniola but its rains could still cause flashfloods and mudslides in Haiti and the Dominican Republic, the National Hurricane Center said.
